The SRAM Force shift levers have got a brand new design inside and outside. The revised ergonomics provide a better finger grip and the new gear lever for more space for the fingers. The grip width can be adjusted individually. The fully sealed system protects against contamination. Connectamajig
Connectamajig makes it child's play to install the hydraulic hose when installing the seat post. No more fear of hydraulics: One press and a twist. It's simple. With Connectamajig, the hose can be disconnected and reconnected several times before venting is necessary. DOT 5.1
Heat is the enemy of any braking system. Better heat management also helps you ride safer. We found out that it takes three times longer for DOT 5.1 than for DOT 4 to reach boiling point. This ensures smooth and consistent braking power under even more extreme conditions DoubleTap
With DoubleTap, you can shift more easily and quickly because the cumbersome and unnatural movement required by two-lever systems is a thing of the past. DoubleTap switches up and down in a short, light movement. Minimum effort and maximum comfort, no matter where your hands are on the handlebars. DoubleTap uses two pawls: one to hold the ratchet wheel and one to move it up and down during gear changes. The gearshift pawls are arranged so that they can jump over each other depending on how far and how much pressure you press the gearshift lever. The transport pawl (04) moves the pawl wheel (02) upwards through the switching range by briefly and quickly touching it. For a lower gear, the lever is moved by a longer distance (in the same direction as when shifting up, but by the ergonomically maximum possible angle of 15º). The retaining pawl (03) and the transport pawl jump over quickly and cleanly.
Grip width adjustment
The fit and ergonomics of the brake lever is a very personal matter. All riders have individual position preferences as well as unique hand sizes and finger lengths. The handle width adjustment makes it easy to adjust the lever - for maximum control with just one finger.
Yaw technology enables trim-free shifting because the front derailleur cage describes an arc and is thus at a constant angle to the chain. The shifts are more direct and precise, providing unprecedented performance when shifting up front.
ZeroLoss simply means, well, zero loss. When you push on the lever, for an upshift or down shift, the cable is engaged instantly, with zero loss of movement. There is no middle-ground where you're waiting for the shift to come. Gear changes are instant and precise.
