In triathlon very special demands are made on a saddle. An optimal pressure distribution and relief of the soft tissue are just as important as a fast-drying, resistant material. The 613 - a weight-optimised triathlon saddle with the proven SQlab step shape, for relief in the dam area. The saddle has super light carbon struts and a carbon fibre reinforced shell as well as a closed porous Superlight padding. The wide SQlab Maxcontact saddle nose shape increases the surface area and additionally reduces the pressure on the sensitive areas of both men and women.
An active riding style also brings the body weight forward onto the saddle nose. Round may sound comfortable and safe, but often it is not. To maximise the area and thus reduce the pressure, the saddle nose of the SQlab Maxcontact principle is flattened. This provides more space with a very narrow saddle nose at the same time.

The deeper saddle nose of the SQlab step saddle concept offers more room and a lot of free space for the dam area. All SQlab saddles are built on this concept developed in cooperation with the Munich urologist and extreme biker Dr. med. Stefan Staudte.

Due to its large volume grid structure, the Marathon Foam has a high proportion of closed air chambers. This results in a spring characteristic curve that provides comfort values for thin upholstery layers that are otherwise only achieved with large-volume, thickly padded saddles. Due to the high air content, the specific weight is extremely low. The padding always remains firm even under high, long-lasting loads. The closed structure prevents water from penetrating into the upholstery
K18 is a modern high-tech functional material. Currently, according to SQlab's experience, the best material for bicycle saddles. Initially, SQlab only equipped the sporty top models.
