TURNO is the new roller trainer with direct drive and built-in brake unit with fluid technology, which is now added to the wide range of solutions Elite offers for indoor training. More precise, quieter and more powerful, TURNO represents the evolution of the Turbo Muin roller trainer, from which it has adopted all the advantages and strengths in an improved design with the aim of becoming even better and more popular. In design and construction TURNO combines all the special characteristics of the Elite top segment roller trainers, which gives it great stability and practicality. It is easy to use and requires only a few hand movements. All you have to do is replace the rear wheel of the exercise bike with TURNO and start training, using the gears of the gears as if you were riding on the road. The progressive pedaling resistance increases automatically with the speed reached by the rider and the inside flywheel provides a smooth ride that is perfectly equivalent to that on the road. This type of roller trainer is characterised by the direct transmission of the force exerted by the rider, as the system is directly connected to the bicycle chain.
Even if it can be used like a conventional roller trainer (positioning the roller, attaching the bike and off you go), TURNO is already "Smart" compared to its predecessor or has the ability to send all data received during training wirelessly via ANT+ and Bluetooth. Inside the TURNO there is already the Misuro B+ sensor, which allows data such as speed, cadence and power output to be sent, enabling cyclists to monitor their training (on compatible smartphones, tablets, cycling computers and navigation devices, using third-party apps and software and not just elite software) and test their performance.
Precision is undoubtedly one of TURNO's strengths. The Misuro B+ sensor built into the roller trainer is calibrated ad hoc by Elite on each individual model using a high-precision ergometer. Every single roller trainer produced is measured at great expense and the performance curves are stored on its Misuro B+ sensor, so that any existing structural tolerances are corrected. This allows unprecedented precision for a roller trainer that is not equipped with a built-in power meter. The power display of the TURNO is a calculated and unmeasured display.
